LSU Tiger Stadium Field and Drainage Replacement

Manchac Consulting Group, Inc. and Holcombe Norton Partners, Inc. (HNP) were retained by the State of Louisiana Office of Facility Planning and Control (FPC) and Louisiana State University (LSU) to design improvements to the Tiger Stadium Football Field. The existing football field has become compacted and drainage during rain events was not to industry standards. Working closely with multiple divisions of FPC and LSU, our team was able to deliver the design for a new natural turf field. The design of this project called for the removal and replacement of all turf material, subsurface drainage, drainage profile, and irrigation system. New sideline pads and trench drains were also included in the design. Manchac also provided high pressure cleaning and CCTV inspection of the storm drain system surrounding Tiger Stadium to improve storm-water runoff from the field and areas around the stadium during rain events.
