Chris Totaro, Jr. – Engineering Intern

Mr. Totaro joins Manchac’s Baton Rouge office as an Engineering Intern. He will be assisting our Senior Engineers on water and wastewater projects. He is currently a Senior at Louisiana State University, where he is pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering and will graduate in December 2018. His previous work experience includes water quality and filter research for AST Bead Filter Solutions in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His group design project was tasked with building a system to convert wastewater to drinking water for a small community of people in New Mexico. This project won a Peer Review Award for Direct Potable Reuse Design at the 2018 WERC Environmental Design Competition in New Mexico.
